The Hirschvogel Group is one of the world’s leading suppliers in the field of steel and aluminum forging and subsequent machining.

Hirschvogel started a project for Industry 4.0 based on SAP ERP / PLM. Together with DSC Software AG, Hirschvogel identified the potential for increased efficiency and DSC provided both the end-to-end services and the key technologies. The foundations were laid with DSC’s standard software SAP Engineering Control Center | SAP ECTR and the add-on Factory Control Center | FCTR.
